Is it just me or is horseriding so dangerous and painful but so good at the same time2007-11-24 21:17:58

i love horseriding and jumping. i htink its the best sport ever!! anyone feel the same??

Answers:

Anyone who doesn't horseback ride is missing out on life. To me riding is essential. It is also great excercise for my legs and arms. It is SO much fun.I showjump I have fallen off 4 times but thats all part of becoming a better rider! All four times I fell off it was because my horse spooked.Horses man...there insane sometimes.

Horse sports are great but I am prejudiced. Yes they are dangerous. People get hurt and even killed. You must always focus on what you are doing and know your ride. Practice often if you are going to compete. Good luck and keep riding.

i love horseback riding, as for the danger of it:

if u die from getting the flu, or pneumonia, or some other contagious disease, people wont say "he died because he was social". And yet those diseases come from having social contact. If u die in a house fire people wont say "he shouldn't have taken the risk of living indoors". If u die in a car wreck people don't blame u for driving or riding in a car (unless u were driving drunk). Yet you say that riding horses are dangerous because it can hurt you. hmmm

Of course there is an eliment of danger as soon as you get into the horses space, it is a package deal. Most of us know the safe way to approach, and work around the horse then how to get on and stay on and have fun.
