Is it ok to dye my horses mane and tail hott pink i like saw this like person, and there horses tail2007-11-24 21:18:00

i like tottally want to dye it pink with little sparkles, but purple might be cuter. is that like safe. how much would it cost. i have like two hundred sumthin horses. most of them are like going to some compitition, and i want them to look cute!!!<3

Answers:

1. Horses don't like having their manes and tails dyed any color, much less pink.

2. Take some grammar classes. You say you're not a little girl, so start sounding like it.

3. Do you even have a horse? Besides toy horses?

BTW, acacia t, not only do I ride Western, I also ride english, yet I am not afraid to get dirty and smelly when it comes to caring for my horse. Not all english riders are hoity toity snobs, although I will agree that many that I've met are!

i think its ok, but you might want to be careful because it might make his tail and mane hair more fragile and so it may break easier and as a result he will have a shorter mane and tail.

alright...it sounds like you haven't been to a horse show...ever...horses get marked DOWN in points if their hair is dyed or if their RIDER'S hair is dyed...and it can be harmful to a horse because there is a possibility that they are allergic to something in the product and it could also make thier hair fall out, also marking them down in points. the oils in human hair and the oils in horse hair are completely different and it could destroy their hair.
