In two years after i'm establish in my career I'm going to get a horse. I'm starting now learning about how to care for them. I've taken riding lessons and was very good at it. Also, i'm interested in breeds and their temperments,health, and what is the best horse for a beginner?

You can search for free horses on www.equine.com. This horse is a show horse, the owner is offering a cheap or free lease, where you would be able to use the horse. Just do an advanced search on this type of website for horses less than $100 in your area. You'll find something.

Horses Haven is a really good rescue! I donate to them all the time and I live in michigan too =) I have been to their barn an it is very nice and they treat their horses well.

Oh and the best horse for a beginner is a quiet one, one that is well trained and that knows what it's doing-- Often quarter horses are really good breeds for beginners b.c they are usually quiet but i have seen the occasional hot QH! I can help you if you want!
