Lead on your horses
My horse wount pick up his RIGHT lead. I have tread tering his hed kiking him lunging him and doing small seculs. When i lung him he will pick up his lead but whem i am on hem he does not. My traner does not even no what to do. I need help because i am going to show him in a little bit.
Answers:I had a horse that would not pic up his left lead and no amount of setting up would make him do it. finally by accident I found out he would do flying lead changes and would change into the left lead but wont start in it. so you can try to make him pic up the right lead first but if he won't see if he will change into it when he is in his left lead. Good Luck
also petqna.com doesn't have spell check when you type the details for your question so why don't you type in a word document and paste it in the question box next time so its not so hard to read.
sorry, your question is practically unreadable because of all the misspellings. YA does offer a nifty little spell check button, try using it next time.
Had the same problem with my horse. Terribly frustrating. What i did was bend his head to the left (yes, oppistite of what most people tell you) against the rail, and push his right shoulder forward by squeezing you left leg. Give it a shot. Good luck.
My horse did the same thing and we had a chiropractor come out and he said it was because his muscle was torn or something. He did some kind of little spring press thing on him and he said that the muscle would soon heal and it would all be back to normal. Also when you're trying to pick up the lead turn his head in toward the inside of the ring and kick HARD and I mean HARD with your outside leg. Also try using a crop. Do the same thing turn his head in kick hard with your outside leg and hit the outside bottom with your crop.
