Leaving for horse camp in 5 days
What should i bring in terms of fun bunk stuff and horse stuff !! i need to know more about the bunk stuff!! Thanx
Answers:As far as fun stuff goes, it may seem kiddish but I usually bring to horse camp with me: horse coloring books or pages printed off the internet, a horse book, a deck of cards, crossword puzzles, some kind of string for making bracelets and stuff, snacks, puppets (always funny and a favorite of roomates :)) and just other stuff like that. As far as horse stuff goes, pleanty of jeans, breeches, schooling tights, jods, or whatever you wear. Your riding boots are a must a long with more socks than you think you will need because they can get sweaty or wet. You will want to find appropriate shirts that are light colored (especially if you are riding outside because it will get very hot) and that you don't care if they get dirty. I suggest riding gloves because chances are you will be riding more often than usual which means you will be using your hands more than normal. I usually don't wear my gloves in the summer but I always take them to camp. Have fun at camp!!!
You need to bring everyday items such as clothes, toothpaste, a toothbrush, a hairbrush etc. etc.
What do you mean "bunk stuff"? Do you mean fun stuff to do?
As far as horse stuff it depends on the camp. You can call the camp to get a detailed list of what you need to bring. You definitely need riding clothes. I would recommend long jeans and old tennis shoes, unless it is an elite jumping or dressage camp or something. You shouldn't need to bring any tack because the camp will provide it.
