Ligament damage No jokes this is serious
Last august i had a bad road accedient with my horse. as a result he has serverly damaged the ligaments in his frount letf foot. we (vet included) have tryed lodes of things and now have resorted to turning him away for year as a last resort as the damage is so extensive. dose any one have any experience on this ie has anyones horse had this type of lamness and what happened (did it sort itself out and how long did it take?).
Answers:Yes-i had a grade A show jumper and he tore a suspensory ligament-started off with 3 months box rest and the leg bandaged-then just gentle walking in hand-building back up to hacking out-however i couldn't show jump him much as his leg would swell and hed go unsound again!though he was sound enough to hack and jump occasionally at home-its a long term thing tho and you cant guarantee your horse will ever recover completely.Good luck!!xx
you should worry less about the horse and more about your spelling
