Answers:He looks good for his age - nice weight, good bloom to his coat, hooves in good condition...he has had good care.
Unrelated to him, but I'd tighten the wires on my bottom two lines of fence. Do you keep all three wires hot? Sometimes they get in a habit of cheating the fence if they figure out they aren't hot, and start pawing or eating through the fence...then you get injuries or escapees. I know you didn't ask, sorry!
if u ask me he looks pretty healthy and stocky but dw my quater horse is the same, stocky, he looks well looked after, just wondering if how often he is ridden? ok hope that helps

he may look a little thin but you can't really see any bones pop-in out so he looks okay
He looks beautiful, very muscular and toned and sleek. No fat ripples that I can see, and not bony or weak looking.
he is a beautiful horse. Nothing seems wrong with him to me. he looks well built and very muscular. And still has years on him for get up and go. Jumpers are supposed to be more on the skinny side than fat so he is good in that department. All and all i say he looks near perfect and looks like a jumper to. Good Luck!
He looks healthy and fine if he doesn't get tired when you ride (Unless its hot) For about 20-30 min then you know he isn't overweight.
He looks great, nice job!
He looks perfect...not to thick, not too thin. Good representation of the breed. Keep up the good work :)
You will know if he is too fat if you put your finger on his belly where his ribs are and you cannot feel any trace of a rib. He is too thin if you can see the ribs, and just right if you put your finger on his belly and you can feel his ribs. If he is 18 years old, and a retired pony horse, then I would suggest to please not gallop him, his feet are already probably worn and tired. Hope this helps!
He looks great! His coat is nice and shiny which is a good indicator that he is very healthy. He's also pretty tone, which will help him age more gracefully and with less health problems.
he looks good now, but if you start riding him more, put him on a grain with more protein or more fat.
He looks really healthy and well treated. In the winter he will look a little thin, but he's supposed to, so don't be too worried. But he he starts getting bigger than that in a way that you have to change holes on your saddle to make him fit it because he's getting bigger, call a vet and see if he's eatting too much. But he looks really good, nice color btw.
He looks good but more trotting, heavy trotting, will help him gain more hind quarter muscles. Especially if you back up a lot and do side passes. As for where your saddle looks to be sitting (I just noticed this in your picture) but you might want to place your saddle farther back so it's not interferring with his shoulder movement.
hes perfectly FINE!
He looks fine.
Looks like your horse is in pretty good shape. He could use a little more muscle in his hindquarters and his topline, which would pull up his belly a little, but overall, he looks like he's in good condition, especially for being 18 years old.
Well The Way You Can Find Out Is By Running Your Finger Across The Horse`s Side You Should Only Slightly Feel Or Don`t Even Feel The Horse`s Ribs But If It Is Fat It Won`t Be As Energized As If It Was Okay
his weight looks just fine.
not at all...on a scale of 1-10 ten being the best, he is a 9 and a half...he's big boned, that's why I deducted, so if you went in a model class, he probably wouldn't do very well...but I show TWH, I don't know how you judge quarter horses in model classes.
