I am entering a horse show tomorrow and it is only a small stable show. I need to do good because the kids in lower classes think of my as they're idol, and the kids in my class have teased me and think I'm and awful rider. Although, I know I'm not awful because a girl much older than me says I'm her idol of how I can get the best out of a horse. My problem is that I don't know what I will be jumping. I pretty much have 2 instructors. One of then trusts me and my horse and lets us jump really high. The other one doesn't and we have to jump low. I resently jumped my first big oxer and I didn't get a big enough mane and I fell of. I was also going to jump my first big plank jump and my horse turned out so my instructor that lets me jump high said to just continue. I am worried that I'll either be so bored in it and the girls in my class will tease me beacause I didn't do the oxer and the plank, or tht I will jump the oxer and the plank and fall like last time. I need some advice for both

The best advice you have already been given is relax, take a deep breath and remember to enjoy yourself.

Having done that just think things through for a minute. You ride because you enjoy it right, and one of the most enjoyable things about riding is those fantastic moments when you and your horse are in total harmony. The phrase that worries me most here is that you're worried in case you'll be bored....you should never be bored when riding. You've already said here that you've had some problems with jumping higher, methinks that you may have some more to learn at the smaller fences first, so please don't be bored, keep going with the small jumps until it all really works well.
