chestnut arabian mare.

Should her call name be Stella and her show name be Stellar Perfornance, Call name - Flame and show name Flamboyant, or Merlot (pronounced merlow) and we don't have a showname for that one yet. Which one do you like better?

Personally, I like Stella/Stellar Performance. I always thought that when I get to own an Arabian, I would call him/her Shiraz. You reminded me of that when you considered Merlot.LOL.

I have a couple arabs and personally I really like Stella and the show name that goes with it. Very classy, feminine and should bring her good luck in the show ring with a show name like that :)

Merlot... and for a show name there are some merlots called Montengro Merlot or Chateau St Michelle Merlot

I like Stella with Stellar Performance. Animals recognize their names easier if their names are two or three syllables. I don't like Merlot for a Chestnut horse because Merlot is a burgundy color, not Chestnut. Flame is a good name, but it doesn't meet the two syllable criteria.
