What can I do2007-11-24 21:21:21

Tomorrow I will be looking after 26 horses, and after I ride some of them I tend to get bored of riding (duh!!). So is there anything I can do to occupy myself out in the middle of nowhere? There is only satellite tv and no internet, I could sweep out the barn but that only takes like 10 minutes. (I'm going to be there for 4 days) What can I do outdoors to keep myself occupied?

Been there done that! It can be soo boring! What I would do would be to take walks, read books, and play with the animals. Just sit in a chair and relax. It can never hurt to relax. Hope you can find anything to occupy your self. Best wishes

Can we change lives? I think you have a wonderful experience in front of you. I'm working in a week long Summer Camp full of snotty nosed children crying for their mommies to take them home because they don't have their PSP's and cell phones. Waah, wahh, waaa.

Lucky you! I have thousonds of pets I need to maintain. Why don't you try creating some jumps out of some logs and stuff. Get a friend around to help you! Create all sorts of jumps and stuff & maybe try a competiton with your friend. Or do you have any portable electronics? Bring them or if you don't have any, borrow some. Hmmmm- what else can you do? Ah- yes try playing frisbee! My horse adores it. We do it for hours & hours on end. Check out this video :
