is best for begginers in horse shows??[[horse and rider both begginer]]
Answers:I am assunming you mean under saddle. I would start out with Walk / Trot or any novice / maiden classes. Good Luck.
It depends what kind of show you are doing...Each show circuit has a different set of classes to choose from. Most shows have a walk/trot division for younger kids, some have walk/trot for older people and young horses.
Make sure you dont over face your self or your horse, if there aren't any classes you will be competitive in, remember there will always be more shows in the future that you can work towards.
Depends on whether you're riding english or western. See if there is a youth beginner class at your show. You could also consider entering novice horse or novice rider, or possibly even green horse.
Walk/trot English/western pleasure. or, walk/trot english/western equitation. Equitation judges the 70% the rider, 30% the horse. Pleasure judges vice versa. these are the classes that I first did in the shows. They are still fun even though i am way more experienced!
English classes:
Walk/trot
Ground poles
Walk/trot/canter
Micro x-rails
Those are the classes my show circuit has for beginners in their first two years of showing.
Halter, showmanship, walk/trot green riders, etc

Lead rein classes
and also, tack and turnout
