What clothes would you put on if you were going to a western horse back riding lesson2007-11-24 21:21:23

Just a normal day nothing special.Its not like a special event or anything.

Answers:

Form fitting but not tight jeans. Levi's with a stretch material is best. If it is going to be hot, wear sunscreen and clothing that will protect you from sunburn. Boots or sneakers with a good heal will keep you from getting your foot stuck in the stirrups.

3 pairs of long johns

insulated carharts

1 cabella rabbit fur hat

gloves with warmer thingys in them

insulated boots with 2 thermal pairs of socks and warmer thingys taped to my feet.

and a blanket wrapped about my lower 1/2 and my mule :D

In addition to jeans & t-shirt, and other items listed in your answers, inquire with your instructor about whether or not he/she will provide a riding helmet for you. I realize western riders like cowboy hats, but for safety you should seriously consider a proper helmet.

blue jeans and a t-shirt. you need to make sure that the jeans that you wear are real loose and baggy. The reason I had a friend that wore some baggy jeans when we went riding when I was a teenager and it rubbed blister on her b*tt.

um i usually wear blue jeans and a tank for sumer, or anything ur comfortable in! WEAR JEANS!! otherwise u'll rub! and get really soar!

It depends on the weather.At the least you will need to wear a comfortable shirt and a pear of comfortable jeans, riding boots and ALWAYS a helmet.

I'd say some stretch jeans or form fitting ones (full length) and paddock boots (or something with a slight heal if you don't have any) If you really want you could put some chaps on too :] As for shirts, just whatever you are comfortable in but I suggest a teeshirt, not a spaghetti strap tank top or anything like that.
