if u think we should have a english or western riding catagory go to the forum and type horses then vote thanx alot and all rude comments can be kept to ur self

I like it the way it is " 1 category", there's more to horses then Riding Styles.

Every where, English Riders and Western Riders seem to think that their style is better then the other and each style has nothing to do with each other.

We all have a common goal: To gain and give knowledge about horses.

People just need to be more clear about their Question and Answers

If you did that then you would need a third category for general horse care and health. An english rider may have helpful hints for a western rider and vice versa when it comes to topics such as horse health and behavior.

Causes too much seperatism. I ride English style and for one thing I've learnt a lot about Western riding with it all being in one, whereas with two speperate catagories, I wouldn't even go into Western and try and learn anything.

Keeping it as one would be best at least fo now. I do think, however, that if people asking riding questions would state which STYLE of riding they were talking about, it would help. People assume it's either English or western, but there is so much more out there than that.

I think it is good like it is - the whole idea is to share knowledge and enjoy your sport.

It doesn't really matter if you ride western, english or drive a carriage really.

Since this category opened I have learned a few things about western riding that I never would have if I'd been in an english riding only category.
