What is a LONG list of things to do the day before a horse show
One again. Bay thoroughbred. Grey welsh pony.
Answers:Pull manes, clip nose, throat latch, ears and bridle path
Bath and use purple shampoo on white areas
Band or plait
Slinky and light sheets to keep them clean
Clean tack
Fill trailer with everything needed, feed, bedding, tack etc
Get shoes done if needed
Pick up your clothes from the cleaner
Fill truck with gas
So in the morning, just need to make adjustments to bands or plaits and sponge off any areas that may have gotten dirty and you are ready to roll
Make sure both horses are clipped and braided
Make sure both are clean
Make sure tack is correctly stored and cleaned
Have the trailer packed
Have all of your gear clean and ready to use
Make sure you are taking medication and creams in case of injury
Have enough food and water for your horses packed
Have a clean habit ready to use
Blankets in case it's cold
Any supplements they need daily
That's all I can think of. Hope this helps!
pull mane and tail(if you pull the tail)
if you are going to, clip coat
clip whiskers, fetlocks, ears
bathe
condition mane and tail
comb out mane and tail
when dry:
