Ok im looking for a bridle to fit an arabian im wondering what a cob size is i mean i dont know what it is so if you can please suggest a size that would be great! and yea
Answers:A Cob is a small horse - larger than a pony but smaller than a warmblood/thoroughbred type.
Most Arabs I have worked with did well with a Cob bridle. However if its still a little bit big - you may end up having to mix & match your cheek pieces or brow bands or cavveson with a pony size.StateLine & Dover have this option.
Good luck
a cob sised bridle is actually a verey ainful one used on breking horses or loading up cows to be sloterd
love tori
I own one cob size bridle. Its not pony sized but not horse size either, its just kinda in between.
It is in between horse size and pony size. I have a thoroughbred that has a smaller head, he wears a cob size bridle sometimes.
Cob-sized bridles do very well on smaller, refined heads and are useful on thoroughbreds as well as smaller horses. The brow band, cheek-pieces and noseband usually fit the smaller head better so there is less of a need to punch additional holes in the leather to end up with a correct fit.
I DON'T KNOW
yeah as most of the others have said bigger than a pony but smaller than a horse!! that sounds to be the right size!
