It depends on what you want to spend. You can get a nice tailored jacket at most better department stores for around $50.00. Pair it with black pants and a white shirt and you are good to go. Rods, Woods Western Wear, Seargents Western Wear have nice but pricey show jackets. Hobby Horse is another good place to look, especially in the "Broken Hearts Sale" You can also look on Ebay. I get quite a bit from there and if you look, you can get some really nice thing at bagain prices. Good Luck!

I buy mine at clearance sales after Christmas as they have the ones with bling at a really low price after the holidays. Also I have bought some on ebay and qvc clearance sites. I dont like to spend much on a show jacket as they get ruined quickly at shows.

If your showing Western, check out Rods or Hobby Horse or even Stateline Tack.They have a reasonable selection of western attire thats not to bad - that being said, you get what you pay for.

To the person who answered that "jackets get ruined quickly at shows" , well thats only if you dont take care of your attire - I have a custom Tailored Sportsmans ($$$) jacket that I bought,and its lasted and still fits 13 years later...its as beautiful as the day my dad bought it for me.

If your showing in small open shows,a pair of neat clean pants - preferably black,with a polo shirt is just as acceptable as a jacket.

i personally love Justin brand and hiding weasel...hiding weasel is very comfortable but still showy enough... although idk if you can find this brand were you live ..i think its only available in oz.
