What is a good name for a shetland pony2007-11-24 21:19:06

I thought of ozzy and jazzy (boy and girl) but does anyone have a boy and girl name for a baby? If not oh well!

Our Shetland pony Abbey just foaled two weeks ago. She had a little filly that we named Gypsy Girl. She weighed about 30 pounds and is really independant. That's why we called her Gypsy. Also, if this is her first baby, I would really watch her. Abbey was really slow with her delivery and I had to tear open the sack myself. It was truly an amazing experience for me. This was my first foaling. Good luck with your new baby. I Hope you have as much fun playing together as we do. Can't wait to her what you had.

Since Shetland has such close Scandanavian ties, how about a Nordic name? For example you could call the boy Thor, and the girl Freya

you lost me on that question. you started asking about name for a sheltand pony then almost seemed like you then started talking about a boy and a girl human. Im going with the assumption that by "baby" you mean baby shetland.
