What is a goood way to earn money to buy a horse and land
Also, maintain the best credit rating you can, pay all your bills on time, get the best education you can so you can get a primo job. Engineer, Vet, or Computer Programer comes to mind. While Doctors and Lawyers make money, they also don't have much time for riding, LOL!
Start with something close. Find a job at a barn. Learn all you can about running it, cleaning it, paying the bills, ordering the supplies, chucking the hay, cleaning the stalls, staying up to 3 am with a sick horse.
When everything comes together, job, knowledge, credit rating; then go shopping for property. In addition to what Wahoo wrote, add 1 1/2 acre per horse.
That's a start. You won't be able to do it with long term drive-through employment. If you want horses AND the property to keep them on, ya gotta get the education!
How old are you?
Get a job
well, i have decided to become a lawyer first untill i get some cash. but then again, i am hoping to get a sports scoloar ship somewhere too! maybe you could do a lot of jobs and save the cash! and the way i am going to make money is by giving lessons and doing carriage rides. you could buy it then pay back on it but that is kind of risky because you don't know if it will be a success or not.
try going to a co-op and post a letter about doing something useful. My boyfriend had to raise enough money to go to a cow show in Denver and got the money fast by putting up a add in the co-op bulletin board saying he'd pressure wash. do something like that or mow lawns and most importantly save every penny, the more you save the more you'll get.
