What is your favorite kind of horse trailer2007-11-24 21:21:49

I'm looking for a horse trailer also so if anyone had a 2 horse slant for sale.. pls email me!!

I love all of my Sooner's and Hart trailers...however I did just purchase a custom made Sundowner that I love.

I'm not really into the flashy trailers- I prefer safety of the horse's over the comfort of humans.so my equine's come first which is why I don't care much for the Featherlite's as many other's have mentioned. I've found that lately they are focusing more on human living quarters and skimping on the safety of the horse's. I've also had several clients that just purchased Featherlite's tell me that the welding and rigging isn't as sturdy in them as they use to be.

A great place to look for a trailer is on ebay. Just be careful.some of the trailer's you can get a good deal on- but other's are crap. I had a friend that purchased a Sooner 5-horseslant with living quarters and tack room that had only been used 2 times for a little over $15,000.

feather lights are great you can costomize them but its costy i like throu builts they are really nice sland and straight loads you can costomize the tack rooms and there great for the horses nice and roomy

I'm an Exiss lover to the max..I've owned nothing but Exiss's over the years (just purchased a brand new 4 horse slant a month ago)..I've never had any problem with them...they are easy to pull..Made of high quality products that are very durable...They are setup very practically for horse comfort, ease of use, & human comfort. I deal with Bill Hopkins at Lazy H Trailers sales in Sardinia, NY..I drive over four hours to deal with Bill & I would reccommend him & the Exiss brand of trailers to anyone!
