What show colors go with a grey horse2007-11-24 21:21:56

If I use my light grey Perch for SCA events, what color barding would look best? He's mostly whitish with speckles, and his legs are darker dapple.

The barding I'm looking at will be striped, with bells at the ends. I'm thinking black with some other color--possibly purple? Whatever colors I use will be on my coat of arms as well. I also considered black and white checkers.

I've never done any shows or event type stuff that required dressing up, any suggestions? Colors? Any help is great, thanks guys!

The answer is the color RED. They always say the color RED is the best color that is suitable with grey u should chose RED they say it is the best colour with grey From saba =)

If i where you i would use a bright color that gets the judges eye like purple, pink, orange. and make sure you smile and don't do anything unless the judge tells you too and don't move up any other horses rear ends they will take off for that and kinda try to show off without making it really notice able.
