What side of the neck should my horses mane be layed on2007-11-24 21:21:56
i was just wondering for a show should i braid my horse's mane on the left or on his right side. thanks i will choose a best answer
Answers:For a hunter show you should braid your horse's mane on the right, as it is tradition. But the american horse show association (now usa equestrian) which is the governing body of all horse shows does not list a requirement for which side the mane should lie on. It just mentions that in some classes it needs to be braided.
Ive always braided/ banded on the Right side.
Mine is on the left. I think it just depends on the way it falls, but I don't show so there may be some sort of regulations for certain disciplines.
Braid on whatever side your horses mane usually falls more. Like I kno manes are floppy, but if there is more on the left the the rite braid on thet left or vice versa
Depends, which side does it fall on, generaly you want to do it on the same side.
my horses mane is on the left
it doesnt matter
but in the old english days
it was perferred the left side
it was thought to be proper or something
Usually it is on the right side.
It depends on which side your horses mane lies. abit like in humans with side partings it always works best on one side rather than the other.
