I use Ortho Equine Comfort Boots and any Ballastic no turn bells, I have several different brands of those. The reason is the heat release of comfort boots. Neoprene, if left on for two long of periods can be damaging to the horses tendons:)

We use the Pro Choice combo boots also. I like them since they seem to hold up better than most. I also like the ease of having the splint and bell boots all together. Little more pricey, but since I do not have to replace as often, the cost averages out to the same money. I used to try and save money buying the cheaper ones, but they did not hold up as well. I have found that if you rinse the boots off to get rid of the sweat every time you use them, it really extends the life of the boot.
I use professionals choice smb. I just bought a pair of the smb elites and they are so much nicer than the regular smb's. I dont really use any other brand cause I'm scared that it wont offer the same protection as the smb's and I dont want to experiment and risk hurting my horses.

I do know of other people who use classic equine boots and they seem to like them pretty well.

I really like using the Eskadron Gel-Tec splint boots. The outside is hard so it protects from rubs and kicks well. The lining is the gel stuff that forms to the horses leg and does a really great job protecting them from shock and pressure. The only downside is that they can get pretty expensive As for bellboots, the KL Italian bell boots are my favorite. The are extra thick on the bottom and hold up well.
I use Dovers All Purpose Galloping boots and Davis Glitter Bell Boots. Both work good and my horse is 23 and he hasnt gone lame using that combination.
I use Wolfe boots both for schooling and for cross country. They fit my horse well, and are very durable.
PRO CHOICE IS ALL I USE ! THEY R AMAZING AND HAVE NEVER FAILED ME
I also use that same protective boot. I like them because they last a fair amount of time, it really protects all the joints and the tendons too. One brand I would really not buy is Legacy because the straps come off really fast and you don't get your money worth out of them. Sorry to all those who do use them but this is my own opinion.
I use Jeffers Training boots. they are 100% identical to the SMB boots, but at half the price.

Here's the link to them:

I still use Professional Choice bell boots, because Jeffers no longer makes the ones Iike them.

But I use the Jeffers splints on all of my barrel racers, team penners, and trail horses. They're actually sturdier to me than the SMB's, mine have lasted me 3 or 4 years now, and showing very very little wear.

i use proffesional's choice SMB II. i heard they are the most durable and reliable out there.
heres the website to the bell boots i use on my horse!!!
