Where can I find a place that sells horses2007-11-24 21:22:49

I'm getting a horse but I dont know where to get a horse. Do any of you people know if there's a place that sells horses in Salt Lake City, Utah or anywhere close to Salt Lake City? But it has to be in Utah! I want a foal. (a baby horse) Where can I get one? And if you know one, then can you tell me if they sell: horse food, trough, straw, hay, fences, gates, jumps, saddles, halters, bridles, mats, bits, etc.? And also do you know if there is a riding school near Salt Lake City, Utah or in Salt Lake? Thanks!

It sounds like you're a novice to working with horses. Please, I must urge you, don't buy a horse (especially a youngster) until you've actually worked with them for a few years and know the amount of time, money, and effort it takes to keep them. A weanling needs constant attention and stimulation, not to mention professional training to insure it's started correctly.
