I would check under the Natural Hoof Care Practitioner web site. I have a horse that was told could never go barefoot again. He had shoes on for 10 years and had trouble with him when they were off. Now he is 18 and feeling the best he has ever. He is barefoot and fancy free. No lameness issues and completely sound. There trim is told to resemble the Mustang roll of the wild horses.
