I am an intermediate rider and I love spunky horses, if you say arabian could you find me an arabian for sale under 2000 in indiana?? I would really like some help on which breed is best for me, I am 11 and 4ft 7in I know small! Could you help me?
Answers:American Quarter Horses are pretty spunky. It all depends on the horses personality. They're the ultimate all-around horse. If you want the look of an Arabian, some horses have that look to them because of cross breeding.
The American Quarter Horse is a breed of horse originally bred for sprinting short distances, typically races of a quarter mile or less. The Quarter Horse is the most popular breed in the United States, and the American Quarter Horse Association is the largest breed registry in the world, with over 3.2 million Quarter Horses registered worldwide. It has been clocked at 55 mph. The Quarter Horse is well known both as a race horse and for its performance in rodeos, horse shows and as a working ranch horse. The compact body of the Quarter Horse is well-suited to the intricate and speedy maneuvers required in calf roping, reining, cutting, working cow horse, barrel racing and other western riding events, especially those involving live cattle. The versatile Quarter Horse is also shown in English disciplines, driving, and many other equestrian activities.

The horse you posted looks nice overall. She stands a little narrow in the back though. She's got a good front (forelegs). She's got a nice rounded rump, looks muscular. What matters most is whether or not you and her will have a connection, or if you can handle that much of a horse.
A good, safe, non-clubfooted Arab for under $2000 will be difficult to find. You might want to consider an Appendix QH, or something of the sort. You can find a decent horse for $2000 but I would highly advise not binding yourself to a breed. At your age and size, the breed is less important than the safety, level of training, and size of the horse. The best advice I can give is find a trainer you want to stick with, and have them help you look!
Try a Quarter horse. They're relatively small/stocky, but they're also fast and powerful for use as a workhorse. The breed you select should fit your purpose for owning a horse. Are you barrel racing, calf roping, cutting, dressage? Each one of these disciplines requires different attributes in both horse and rider. Try to figure out what would serve your purposes best when it comes to size, musculature, endurance, etc. On a personal note, I've always been partial to Appaloosas!
Arabians, are good, so are Quarter horses, morgans and maybe a large pony(since you are small) any breed is good, it really depends on their personality matched with yours. :) It also depends on what style you ride.
