Who do you admire as a rider or trainer2007-11-24 21:22:56

I wouldn't want to ride like her considering she rides western but my neighbor is amazing with horses.. Shes in her late sixties and a few years ago she was on her sister's horse and Patches got spooked and some how she was thrown off and the horse fell on her.. she still rides though even after she spent a week in the hospital and a few months recovering.

I admire Kim Severson she is awesome and also Phillip Dutton because he used to be my landlord

I admire the former assistant trainer at the barn I ride at, Shannon, who isn't a pro but you have to give her points for looking amazing on a horse like her's. He was an absolute spazz, great jumper, but I never once saw anyone but her manage to control him and look good doing it.

she's been so successful on so many different horses

Lynn Palm, I saw her at an AQHA show once, she is a great rider and has done some amazing things with her horses.

i would say ian miller, he is so classy and when he was jumping with big ben it was awesome to watch! hes a great rider and i think he brings a lot of pride to fellow canadians! even in his senior years he is still competing in grand prix shows, thats pretty cool.

There's a local event rider that I used to work for ( my daughters work there now) and I really wish that I had his knack - he makes it look so easy - he gets on these huge event horses with practically no contact and they just go like Okay and they're on the bit. It's amazing to watch.

i would have to say Charmanye James shes awesome. I just started barrel racing and i love watching her in the 1990's rodeos they have on tv at night. She's a great barrel racer.

i would absolutely love to train under Clinton Anderson. he is fabulous and he has won the road to the horse competition three times and has his own show on RFD-TV called downunder horsemanship check it out or his website and www.downunderhorsemanship.com for more information on him and what he does

I admire George Morris, for though people criticize him, he is a great trainer, and is trying to keep the old "horse is more important than rider" attitude alive.
