i really wanted a triple crown this year but if anybody beat street sense i wanted it to be hard spun or curlin. any other horse would have been a big upset cause they werent as good as those three. curlin iss soooooo cute though. i love his face marking.

I always root for some horse to win the Triple Crown, but this year, I was just hoping nobody would get hurt and it turned out to be a great race.

I really don't care,its not about the trophys or money,i dont even like doing shows,thoughI've been asked to,I don't,Its just about having fun and spending tim with your horse.I do think Curlin's cute,every horse is!

I do! I still wish street Sense won. Lucky I didnt put any money down! But I wanted Curlin to win the Kentucky Derby!

I'd draw the line at calling Curlin, "adorable", but he's insanely talented - especially when you factor in the stumble at the start and all the times he seemed to quit running and then accelerated again, not to mention going wide on the turn. If he hadn't raced so greenly, he might have actually won by daylight - and this is coming from someone who really wanted to see Street Sense win! As far as Street Sense goes, I wish he hadn't hit the front quite as soon as he did - as Nafzger and Borel both commented, he tends to think the race is over once he gets ahead of the pack, and then he started sightseeing a little too much and got nipped at the wire. Still, it was a very good race. Kudos to Michael Matz and Chelokee for taking the Barbaro too!

I felt terrible about Mending Fences breaking down in the Dixie though. Breakdowns are the worst part of the sport.
