Why R horsey people so patronizing
Why do we always have to act like the big no-it-alls. Some of the people answering on this section are extremely patronizing. No wonder Carson is the top contributor because his answers are informative and tips excellent. Many people have genuine problems and are hesitant to post a question because they are made to feel like idiots. Keep going Carson, hope you always respond to my questions. I've been involved with horses for 15 years and I know that by the time I'm 80, i still won't know everything there is to know about horses.
Answers:Thanks guys! I've been through the know-it-all stage too (back in high school), I think it's an age and experience thing. I want to help people with genuine issues if I can. I will also point out bad info (I hope people don't take this as picking on them, it's usually a safety thing). When it comes to horses (or most any subject for that matter) the more you learn, the more you realize how much you really don't know.
Because they have money and think they're above you. Saying that there are some sweet people in the business, usually the quieter ones!
I dont know about horses but I love them so much. I wish I had one but hopefully once I marry my hubby will get me a pony ... and I can ask my doubts to you about them.
I'm with you on that !
We all have to start somewhere and nobody ( however much money they have) will ever know everything.
