Two: Not all twelve-thirteen year olds are stupid or have the apperance of being stupid.

Three: horses like to run a horse is most likely to hurt itselve doing..anything a horse can be hurt doing anything.

Uh dude they run in the wild DUH and no it isnt dangerous as long as u know what ur doing. and where ur at. and yah its the same as barrel racing but way safer ur not turning at high speeds

I didn't read the post about the 12-year-old, but what is the harm in running a horse? Don't they do it themselves when in the pasture?

I don't believe in those ignorant riders who hop on and run the daylights out of their horses, or who only run and never walk or trot. But I can't imagine anyone protesting a canter or a lope, or even a full gallop if that's what you want.

Race horses run! Are you telling me there are people who actually criticize others for running their horses? They need to saddle up and try it. Their horses will probably have as much fun as they will!

LOL!~ You are so right! What is it with some horse people, one day there driving a porsche, the next they buy a horse, and a dually along with a big trailer, then there over night experts! Heres one I get a kick out of.. They call theirselves "Trainers!" But wotk elsewhere like wal mart. A pro trainer makes way to much money to work elsewhere. Or how about the barn *****, theres one at every stable, know it alls. Hang in there friend! Just do what your doing, feed him, care for him, and we will all stand behind you!
