I am a hunter jumper. My legs are always moving. i have tried for monthes doing no-stirrups and 2-point position, and many other exercises as well. and none of them work. it really bugs me that i can't keep them still and i just don't know what to do. my instructors don't know what to do about it either. i need seious help.

If you hike up your stirrups a hole or two it will make your leg more stable and help it stay in place better. At first it will feel wierd having your stirrups shorter... but eventually you will get used to it. Also ask your trainer if she can give you a lesson where you can just hack, and instead of worrying on your position and having your back straight or your fists up, just think about keeping your leg still. Also start keeping your leg steady at the walk... and when it is steady there then practice on keeping it steady at the trot... and then just work on keeping it steady at the canter. That way you will build your leg muscles to stable your legs. Hope this helps!

It sounds like restless leg syndrome. Taking vitamin B6 can sometimes help this, but your doctor might have better ideas.
Sounds like a problem with concentration. Are you tensing your legs too much when you ride? If so, you may be moving as a way of relieving that tension. You have to hold them steady, but don't over stress the muscles either. Just let them naturally rest where they are. Imagine they are being held up by a string, and hold them accordingly, then let them rest until they are needed.
You are most likely posting straight up and down or off your feet or calf or all three. You need to post off your inner thigh and sit at a 45 degree angle and keep your leg behind the girth. If you control your posts with your thigh, you have no weight on your feet or lower leg so they do not move.
I had this problem too, I ride bareback so it was weird riding english, but in time my legs stopped. Just stand up in your stirrups (two point) and adjust your ankles down. Keep contact on your calves at all times. Never lose pressure. Try posting without stirrups, that will help you gain calve muscles and thigh muscles. It was definietly a different kind of transition from squeezing with my knees in bareback to keeping pressure with my calves. Hope this helps, good luck!
you may be gripping with your thighs i used to do this without noticing! you should just let all the weight drop to your heels and let your legs loosen dont grip with them! soon you should be ok with your legs
