Why do people come this web sight and ask, "what horse is best for me"2007-11-24 21:23:20

We can not judge a horse by a picture, You can read about the horse but you can't really take their word on it. You need to see the horse in front of you, see it in action.

AND, WE know even less about the person who wants that asked the question, Like what do they want to do with this horse and riding experience

Uhh I know what you mean! I also dont like the ones that ask for the names because they get annoying but I answer them anyway to help them.

Well, it is a vague ?, but I think people are looking to see if anyone has any info or insight they haven't thought of...just like when people ask should I get a maltese or a min pin- we don't know, depends on what you're looking for in a dog, but we'll share what we know.

Because that's what this site is all about and they want other opinions. That must be why, I don't think most people are going to buy a horse just because it looks good in a photo. I sure hope not anyway. I don't think you should buy a dog or cat that way either...

I have to say I agree on both points. It depends on the person and the horse, which can only be figured out in person. But then, some people may have insights into a certain breed, or even a certain sex, since they all have little quirks. Then again, these things may not apply to that animal or that person. There have been, however, some people thinking of getting a really bad choice of a horse. Like a three year old Thoroughbred for a beginner, and people here who know better, are able to point that out. (Nothing against TBs. I own one myself.) So it can go both ways.
