Why do people come this web sight and ask, "what horse is best for me"2007-11-24 21:23:20

And, people can say whatever they wish in a horse ad... all you can judge is confirmation, atleast that of which the picture allows. I could say my horse was "kid" proof. But mean, experienced kid proof.. not "beginner" kid proof.

I have found that most of the people who ask that question are young, preteens or teens. Most of them aren't quite so knowledgeable about owning horses, and so they ask for the help of "experts" (although I am hardly an expert). You make a valid point, and I couldn't agree with you more, but some people have little expertise on the sibject, hence what I already explained. Okey?

I think most of the people that ask that question are young, inexperienced people and are just excited about the possibility of getting a horse. Anybody who's been completely excited about something can understand that all consuming need to talk about it all the time. Maybe this is their way of getting that experience. Plus, if you can help one kid avoid making a wrong choice, you've done a good thing.

Well usually it's people who have already gotten an opinion on some options and would like some more-- or even people that are just coming into the horse world without much knowledge, let a lone a trainer. Some people DO have a trainer but a lot of times, unfortunately, you don't see trainers really spending much time and communicating with their students other than in lessons. You often see this at large, commercial barns. Anyways, there's not much we can do by yelling at them or telling them not to look on petqna.com es, the only thing we can do is try to help out as much as we can based on the info they give us.

I was answering reptile questions earlier, cuz someone was wanting to know what kind of snake would be good for a beginner, and some idiot stated that large snakes are poisonous :|

I would just like to extend my discontent towards people who answer questions without knowing anything beforehand.. :|
