Why do people not read questions properly ,i ask a simple question2007-11-24 21:23:00

on why some horses prefer left over right dominance, an answer was voted by 100 people,quote( you could nail a thicker shoe on the left side to counteract it) ive been a farrier for over thirty odd years ,do people not realise the problems that arise from unbalanced feet,,100% of voters ,voted for this as the best answer to my question,the mind boggles,The animal whisperer

You originally asked why some horses have one-sided dominance/preference. You asked it in several different ways and then started to talk about being ambidexterous and polo ponies.

Apparently we all got it "wrong" (his answer is posted under general pets for all you others!). I did not vote for this answer...in fact only 1 person voted it!! I assumed you were talking about stiffness on one rein or another which I think most people did. Most horsey people are not polo people so we are all going to interpret the question differently.

I have asked questions and got silly/irrelevent answers but I do not moan about it - just disregard those which do not apply. Why ask a question if you know the answer anyway?

Sorry this is a bit of a rant... it's not meant to be and you sound like a nice person who cares for animals... but most people on petqna.com are only trying to help.
