Will you pray for my horse2007-11-24 21:23:25

my horse i so sweet, and he's only 4. recently, another horse kicked him in the neck and caused an esophogial diverticulum. the diverticulum in his throat is a big pouch, and when he eats, food gets stuck in it.

we had to load him up and haul him to our state university, where the doctors scoped him and took x-rays. the doctor said it was the biggest he'd ever seen, and that they couldn't do surgery. he was put on medication for around the clock monitoring.

we finished giving him his perscription and started noticing him improving, but today, the bulge in his neck was the worst i had ever seen it.

it's very hard for him to eat, it's takes him about 3 hours to eat a scoop of feed, and he chokes and aspirates.

i love this horse with all my heart, he's my ticket to fullfilling my barrel racing dream. before we got him, a was in agony thinking i could never race. all im asking is for a simple prayer to help heal this amazing, loving horse's illness.

Dear God, You care about people, and You care about animals too. The bible says that you see if even a sparrow falls. If it is Your will, please help Rondo to get better. Help him to heal and to be comfortable and happy. Help his owner to know what best to do for him. Help the vets know what to do for him. I'm so sorry that awful things have to happen in this world. When someone or something you love is hurting, it breaks our hearts. And we know if breaks Your heart too. Help us be brave even in hard times, and if it isn't too much, find a small miracle for this horse. Amen.
