Do you like the Wintec 2000? If I bought one, would I be able to compete with it? I've heard that you cant compete with a saddle that isnt leather...true or not true?
Answers:I've never heard of someone unable to compete if they are in a synthetic saddle... But I have never ridden in one, however I imagine that they would be REALLY easy to stay in because of all the synthentic suede.
it is not true there ar no laws i use the wintec 2000 all the time, its a good reasonably priced saddle
the wintec 2000 is the top of the wintec range it is comfortable for both you and your horse having the fantastic cair system it is easy to clean and a really light saddle making it a popular choice for a lot of horse owners. As for competing it doesn't make any difference except if you were doing show classes at county level or hoys level. I use to ride on a wintec vsd if i,d have sen the 2000 first I'd ave had that one. I now ride on the bate which is the leather one bates and wintec both have the cair system and adjustable gullets fantastic both my horses go so much better in them they both move more freely. Make sure that you have the cair system not flock as so much has gone into researching the cair its silly not to use it. expect to pay no more than 415. pounds for a new one, and some tack shops will let you take it to try and ride on. good luck
I'm absolutely not an English rider, but...
