Wintec 500 or 2000 saddle with CAIR system2007-11-24 21:23:25

Can anyone give me first hand experience of these saddles, how they wear and tear, how they fit., I am thinking of buying the 2000 General Purpose with Cair system for jumping and general usage.

wintec 500 is a great everyday saddle but the 2000 is the rolls Royce of synthetic saddles. The cair system on both of these is great for the horse and you can say goodbye to any pressure points which you can have with flock the air in the cair systems makes the whole experience nicer for the horse i owned the wintec saddle until a few months ago when i decided to upgrade and treated myself and my horses to the bates all purpose the ultimate in comfort. Both of my ridden horses went better in the cair system. I also work in a tack shop and sell all the wintec and bates saddles they sell really well and all have great feedback it depends on your budget which one people buy my advice is to get the 2000 it is easy to clean is hard wearing very easy to clean just wipe with a damp cloth and brush with a soft brush. The care panels have a ten year guarantee and the tree has a life time guarantee. The fit is amazing on all of them you can by the gullet set for around 70 pound and this cover all widths and providing your horse is in this range narrow to x wide then they will fit if they don't sit correct on your horses back a saddle fitter can flock over the cair which gives you a great fit and still allows the cair system to work. hope you enjoy your new purchase

personally, i HATE Wintec...to me, they are cheaply made. ive never owned own but have ridden in ones owned by my friends and they are uncomfortable and unable to adjust to the horse and rider...i have owned courbettes for a long time and i LOVE them...pessoa's are excellent as well.
