Gaited: gaited breeds, TW are good.
Showmanship: ALL
Western: QH, Paint, really anything.
English: ALL
Reining: QH , Paint
Here are some shows.
ARe you doing English or Western discipline?
For jumping I recommed
-hanoverians
-types of warmbloods
Western
-quarter horse
-paint horse
English
-hanoverians
-warmbloods
-paints
These are my personal opinions on horses I like. Hanoverians are one of my favorties but do cost more than the normal price. And Paints are my other favorites.
There is not "best breed". Each breed has its own perks and quirks. All breeds are special and were bred for that. But any horse can do the same thing as any other horse.
It really depends on what you want to show and how much experience you have with horses. I prefer Quarter Horses. They are honest and patient and very forgiving. Horses are alot like people and can have very different personalities. I'd rather have a horse with a bad personality than one with no personality. Most of the quarter horses I've dealt with have a good pesonality and that will be apparent when you're showing.
There are show horses in every breed, depends on what you are talking about when you say show.
As a general answer, there is NO best breed. People all have their favorites, some people are bias to a particular breed. It just depends on the style you like, kind of like cars. Small and sporty, long and lean etc.
That varies depending on the rider's ability and for what purpose and riding discipline the horse will be used. Any breed of horse can be shown. You need to give more info as to what KIND OF SHOW? Western or English? Halter or equitation? Dressage or reining/barrel racing? Show jumping? Rodeo? Give more info.
Quarter horses are easily the best!!
best breed for a show is is a Morgan horse
Definatly quarter horses! They are great all-around horses. Not too big; not too small. They are beautiful, smart and athletic. Quarter horses are the way to go!
Warmbloods. They are sound, great hunters, sometimes great movers, and are usually quite docile. Also quarter horses. Nice, sweet personalities and some jumping ability. Trakaners also are great for undersaddle
There is not enough information to answer this question. You don't say what type of showing, how often you'll show, your time you are able to dedicate to this horse, other things you'd like to do with your horse (i.e. trail riding, etc.) Every horse breed is 'best' for something, but not every horse breed is the 'most suitable' for your endeavors. Expand your answer, and you'll get better/more honest feedback.
Quarter horses, paints, and sometimes appaloosas! but yeah u want a horse that is sutible for your event! if it be jumping a TB or a warmblood(sometimes exspensive). but if you r doing a speed event, you'll want a quarter horse. and if your doing western pleasure, a paint, apps, and quarter horses are good for that! not so much a TB for western pleasure, they're leggy and aren't so comfy going slow! hope i helped!
