Wobbler syndrome

Good Luck! God Bless Your Horse And Foal!
some breeds are more likely to have the syndrome too, like TN Walkers, there is sergery to correct it too if its not too bad. I spent $8000 for my horse who had to stint 2 Vertebrae.
There is a risk of genetic inheritence. Breeding her is not something you should consider, truly.
But first, you really should confirm that this what the mare actually has and not just guess. She could have something else- something treatable by other means, etc...
Wobbler syndrome is hereditary, so chances are high that the resulting foal will eventually get it.
How long has she been suspected of having it?
There is no certainty that wobbler or wobbles is passed on genetically it is a neurological deasise .If your not sure ask your vet .
