African Dwarf Frog dead I think
African Dwarf Frog dead I think2007-11-24 1:47:06
This is going to sound really stupid, but I -think- my ADF died last night. He's normally lethargic but he hasn't moved at all or responded to any sort of stimulus all day. Is it possible that he's estivating? Is there any way to be sure?
Answers:Its dead. Poke it. Lift it up. If not response, its dead. SORRY!
have u tried to wiggle the cage or touch it with a net. if there is no response then he well...is dead. :(
Those guys need to come up for air like every five minutes or so...I'd stick a net in & if he's dead then he'll just float around lifelessly. They're really hard to keep alive from my experience. Sorry!
It's probably dead, or maybe has a hurt leg and can't swim, then it will most likely die, its happened to one of mine, its leg got sucked into my filter but I got it out, but then it couldn't move from the bottom of the tank, and it died. :(
