Albino ball python
i want an albino ball python but i dont know how much they cost or where to get them
HELP! PLEASE!
Answers:First: Research ball pythons. http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules.php?...
that's a good place.
Second, be ready to shell out anywhere from $1000-$1400 for the animal, and more money for a proper enclosure, digital thermometer and hygrometer and proper bedding and an uth and such.
Third, check out http://market.kingsnake.com/index.php?ca...
You can find classified ads for many ball python morphs including albinos, but I suggest you check out one of the breeder websites at the top of the page first, as they are more reliable.
Try your local pet store. Some times pet smart carries certain snakes. I would purchase one from a reliable pet store or a breeder that knows what they are doing.
Albinos tend to be more expensive than the average ball python. First: if this is your first snake, make sure you know what you're getting into. Ball pythons can live up to 40 yrs!
I suggest looking at Petfinder.com. There are thousands of pets (a few hundred snakes) without homes. I don't know if you're interested in breeding an albino or just think it's cool, but if you just want a pet ball python then the color shouldn't be that important of a factor.
I rescued a three year old 3 1/2 ft ball python who is (as the breeders put it) "normal". When I got to expos and tell them about him their faces always fall when they find he's "nothing special". I think it's sad when the pattern of the skin is all they can see in snakes anymore.
So good luck on your search. It won't be cheap, I'll tell you that now. Just consider adopting a rescue "normal" one in mind, okay?
albino ball is expensive. if in us, i survey few website, it cost more than usd1000 - usd1500 but it's worth it if you ask me.
