American Green Tree Frog and Geicko question

Ok so I found a frog in my house the other day and decided hey i would like to keep him... So in a 10 gallon tank he went with some nice Spanish moss and some tree branches and a humidifier and the whole nine yards. I named him Ceasar. Well i went to go get some crickets for Ceasar at the local pet store and they gave me a box with a small hole in it to poke and put in his terrarium. Long story short i have one small tree frog and about 30 crickets in a small tank. Then after reading the vitamin powder instructions it said not to leave the crickets in there over night because they could harm your pet. So because of all the moss in there it is impossible to remove all the crickets so i went outside and caught two gecko's to help Ceasar with the crickets. So my question is can gecko's and tree frogs live alright together? Is Ceasar in any danger?

Sounds like you live in a cool place if you can go out and grab tree frogs and geckos! Anyways, about them living together, I would be more worried for your geckos.

Some species of frogs and toads have semi or very toxic chemicals that seep from their skin. In the wild this has a useful purpose: it deters predators from eating them. But in the enclosed space of an aquarium your geckos could potentially be poisoned by a frog or toads secretions. Symptoms range from rashes, poor skin quality, lack of appetite or even death.

It does depend on the species of gecko and the species of frog. Some geckos are not bothered others are. Some frogs produce little or no toxins, while others do. But I would remove the geckos just to be safe...

It is true about the crickets. I use a small plastic terrarium to keep my crickets alive with some gel water sold at pet shops. It works great.
