Answers:hi bobtails are good pets i have mine in a outside enclosure which is a old book case made up with three sections the first section has woodchips, half hollow logs and a heat cord and a uvb light, second section uvb light ,sun glow ,gravel, one hollow log ,and a heat glo infrared heat lamp.third section is play sand with a few plastic plants.
They all use all three sections during summer but as it is winter they all have been in brumation just starting to move around now.
You can have the same set-up inside but just a bit smaller. They love eating a mixture of vegs just( no lettace), cut up small, cat food (No fish.) chicken and veg ,rockmelon strawberries, apples kiwi fruit, snails as long as there is no snail pellets around your house. You can feed them small amount every day,cat food once a fortnight.
They are cute but have you thought about a bearded dragons they are awesame its just a thought.Hope this helps
