How much are lizards
It depends on what kind of lizard and it's size as well as where you get it. I've always gotten mine free by catching them myself or my cats bringing them to me. But for the more exotic types like kimodo dragons or gila monsters you will have to pay the going price in your area. Iguana are fun, nice looking, and fairly trainable. Plus you can get harnessess to walk them on a leash.

Depends on the lizard.
To buy:
Bearded dragon- $60 from a pet store, $150-300 depending on age, from a breeder for a morph. (the morphs just have prettier colors)
Iguana- $30 from a pet store, free if you adopt or rescue (all 3 of mine are rescues, do a search online for rescues in your area)
Chameleon- $160-ish from a pet store, upwards of $600 from a breeder for the really colorful panther chameleons.
Geckos- range from $25-$60 in a pet store, not sure from breeder; this is one of the only lizards i have never had
as far as cost to house them:
Bearded Dragons: $5-100 for a tank, $40 for a UVB from a pet store, $25 for UVB online, $20-ish for heat lamp (depending on which lamp you get, bulbs run about $8.) $5 for carpet or shelf liner for bottom or $4 for play sand. rocks for basking from your yard. (NEVER USE HEAT ROCKS FOR LIZARDS) or basking branches/rocks/slate from a store $10-50 depending on how many you buy and how big.
