Iguana in my tree
Iguana in my tree2007-11-24 2:00:35
Hey all, Well I have a family of Iguana's living in my tree. They are eating all my plants and distroying the flowers by laying on them. I went to animal control and they had no solution to remove the lil guys.. I live in Altamonte Springs Florida and would love to get someone out to catch and keep. Please Help :)
Answers:Call the Iguana trapper.
Unfortunately large iguanas cannot be tamed and are dangerous. If they didn't grow up with people they will probably end up euthanized.
Put an ad in the local paper.
How big are they and how many are there? I would love to come get them if they stick around. I doubt they will though.
Or you could try a local small pet shop, they may do it. also call gator land see if they want them.
Go online and find a lizard rescue. Possibly anumal control but they won't have as many resources to care for them.
you are lucky to have iguanas near you. I love reptiles and have a bearded dragons. ive seen big iguanas when i was on vacation in saint thomas. they are very cool, and fun to watch. i do not have them because i live in NY. not the city, but its too cold
find a chupa cabras and he will do all the work for you
Smile and be happy.
iguanas are better looking then dumb flowers.
make the lil guys a salad and welcome them.
