He goes a really funny green colour sometimes, i often think its maybe him being too warm, its very noticable, what do u think this could mean? (hes normally a browny/creamy colour.)
Answers:This is caused from a calcium and vitiman deficiency. It CAN be fatal. This can lead to many bone defects as the beardie gets older, causeing it to die or become imobile. If your feeding it crickets i suggest useing more calcium dust then usual. If your feeding it greens use some of the calcium duct on those as well. If this continues to happen you will need to take it to a reptile specialist. They will give it a small shot of electrolytes and vitamins to boost its matobolism. You will then need to continue with the dusting as usual.
there is nothing wrong with your dragon. when gets older bearded dragon does so many amazen things, like change any color to match what ever they stand on. they can live up to 10yrs. if you take care them right. good luck.
It is either just something natural bearded dragons do or it could be por nutrition. Are you feeding him properly?
if you think he is to warm buy him a hut and move the light on his cage to the opposite side of the water.
