Snakes are better because fish dont really do much except swim around in water. however, reptiles are interactive and you can take them out of your tank and play with them. while fish are more like a picturesque kind of animal.

It depends. Reptiles do take alot of special attention and care. If you aren't home much and don't have alot of time/money to spend, I would suggest fish. If you have your heart set on a snake and you are willing to put some time and care into it, it can be very rewarding to own a reptile. Good luck.

I enjoy fish, I have a 29 gallon gold fish aquarium and I love it. Low maintenance and the fish food is not very expensive. However my sister has a Snake, they have to feed it rats once a week because thats what they eat. I don't think I can handle that. So I think fish are better. Also if you travel or go on vaction its easy to find someone to come feed you fish. But may be hard to find someone to come feed your snake.

if you mean which are the better pet I would have to say snake, more fun, unlike fish you can take them out of their cage and hold them and they'll wrap themselves around you and in my opinion they much more beautiful then a fish.

Well I have both. Fish are very boring but alot safer. Snakes are really neat to take care of like when you give them a bath and watch them swim around in the tub. I have a Python and like 15 different aggressive fish. I think snake are more interesting to have.

It would depend on your personal point of view. I've owned snakes and fish, and I prefer snakes, since it would be a little hard to wear a goldfish or a cichlid around your neck. Earrings, maybe?

Hissssssssssss. I would have to say fish. Snakes such as Boas, and Pythons can kill people. 1 in 20 people get killed by there pet snakes each year or more I think.
