Should I get a baby female or male ball python2007-11-24 2:02:42

I think I want a female because they get bigger, but I am still not sure. Please help!

Answers:

Either one will do. Their temperament depends on the animal itself, not the sex. If you plan on breeding in the future get a female. Also remember that female ball pythons get bigger than the males.

I have had 2, both females. Next one I get will be male. The females are a bit on the aggressive side.

Now that I think about it, not much difference between female ball pythons & humans.lol!

Any snake can be dangers and python are just as dangers as any snake. Where i live a boy had one and he thought he know all about them and read books on them and that snake one day decided to wrap him self around him and almost killed him by squeezing him to death.

It depends. Do you think you can actually take proper care of a snake? Honestly after reading your other question I really don't think you should get either
