My turtle just now ate one those aquriam pebbles will he be alright wha t do i do hes only about a year old

Answers:

Take the pebbles out immediatley! You should only use rocks bigger than the turtles head. Gravel should not be used for turtles because they eat it and will become impacted. Minor cases they will poop it out, extreme cases need a vet. Very extreme they will die.

Please remove the gravel ASAP! Chances are it ate more than one pebble. So take the gravel out and make sure he poops them out, remove the gravel as soon as he poops it out. It may take a while depending on how long he's been eating them. A follow up with a herp vet is a good idea. If you don't have a herp vet you can check these links http://www.nytts.org/nytts/helpnet.htm.

he should be fine. keep an eye on him and if he doesnt look good take him to a vet.
he should be alright if he swallowed it.
He will be fine. They do that to help break down there food in their stomach. My two turtles do it all the time. Just moniter is eating and make sure he ate well.
Mine used to just pass them out just fine. I think they eat them to help with digestion.
mine use to eat some when i forgot to feed him
take him to the vet emedeatly
if it was a small pebble it should pass but u might want to call and ask a vet just to be on the safe side.
Get those pebbles out of there and go for either pea-sized pebbles, nothing, or sand (if you are using an undergravel filter), clean the cage well, offer a top-quality diet.

The turtle will be fine as long as it does not eat too many of them.

Check out the varius articles at http://www.austinsturtlepage.com. for other ideas.

if he is a small turtle it may be hard for him to digest.you might need to take him to a vet
if its real tiny , he will probably just pass it , but i wouldnt keep anything like that in his aqaurium just to be safe
