What can conserve a dead small turtle Alcohol, ice, anything2007-11-24 2:03:15Answers:
formaldahyde. Why?
hmmm why??
ice preserves other body parts, etc so I would think that would work.
formalin would do the trick
A taxidermist
formaldahide
Why would you want to?
Formaldehyde. Works like a charm. At least.I think it does anyway. Call your morgue and ask them, their dying to talk to you. Oh gosh.I couldn't resist. I must be getting really tired. I'm so sorry.
To preserve. use alcohol.
To conserve..?
Why?
For a short time you can put him in your freezer.
If you want to keep him long term, I suggest going to a taxidermist.
Appears you have some issues
Alcohol will and so will freezeing but if you want long term preservation use formaldihyde.
formalin is very bad smell and its not suitable but I think if you insert it in an alcohol bottle and close it's door it save for a long time and white alcohol is best.
I am sorry for your loss.
Be sure that its really dead.
Alcohol will work fine. I knew a girl whose father put the turtle for a couple of days. Retreived it and made a pendant from it by putting a chain through the eyes. This only and illustration I do not recommend the jewlery idea.
