What do I do if Ive lost my gecko in my house2007-11-24 2:03:22

I know. I'm horrible. I'm so upset right now. But I closed off the room where he is (lost). He's a baby gecko.like the size of my pinky finger. I'm terrified that I'll never find him.give me some ideas! I've been looking for ages.he's just so little.

I have 3 gecko's and they've been lost on numerous occassions. I can tell you that none of them have ever left the room they were in and they always hide, and it's always under the fridge (me n my boyfried call it the "land under the fridge", they go there because it is warm. look nearand under all your warm spots, being very careful not to make loud noises or move too much, gecko's stress very easily, especially your being a baby, even more so. What does he eat? I don't know maybe put the food somewhere and maybe he'll come out for it.

ages? U might find a dried up gecko

I would set out some crickettes in his enclosure with water and see if he shows up! they can fit through any small crack and climb up many surfaces so it could be anywhere in your house!!

Put out some food for him and watch where you step !

Check a heat or water source if any. They have sticky pads right? Check back side of bedposts and the like. Look up as well. Wtach out when you put your shoes on.

Put food and water in an open top box in the middle of the room.

This should work, oh. put some of his shredded bedding in the box too.

Put the TV on and pray that the Gieco commercial comes on. So he can see his people finally made it big in the TV biz. Then he'll come out and then you can pounce on him.

Look in the warm, dark, and humid places. Start close to the tank, look under everything and against walls.
